Nassau Bahamas

Because we needed to sail from Tortola back up approximately 800 miles, we had a day and a half at sea.  We pulled into Nassau around noon and had till 6pm to be back on the boat.  Justin and I had booked the Dolphin excursion which would get us into the rest of the Atlantis resort, so we were pretty pumped..but knew we’d be tight with the time frame.

I was excited to skip the “orientation”.  They wouldn’t let us take our cameras, so I spent $70 on these next few pictures.  I supposed they were worth it.

The next day we arrived in Miami! We didn’t know how long customs would take us, so we booked an afternoon flight.  Well, we were through customs within 5 minutes and at the airport 8 hrs before our flight! So, we took a Taxi to Hollywood Beach Boardwalk.

We walked and had a yummy lunch. Then we headed back to the airport.  Getting back to reality this week was pretty smooth.  We had the best babysitters for the kiddos and awesome pet sitters for the animals.  The house was fairly clean and I only had to unpack and do laundry for Justin and myself.  AMAZING!  So, 3 more days of school and activities went really well. Now the kiddos are out of school and summer is officially here!
