Disneyland 2012 part 2

So, Friday, we weren’t really organized and decided to eat in the park.  We ate AFTER I drug my two boys on Space Mountain. (Tannon is exactly 40” tall!) Jayden hated it, Tannon was scared, and Alyssa was outside pitching a fit.  (yeah, so much for the happiest place on earth).  Still, I wanted Jayden and Tannon to at least go on a “scary ride” before saying they “hate scary rides”)  So, lunch was kinda dramatic and whiney, but afterward we hit up the jungle cruise, Indiana Jones, Pirates of the Carribean, the Haunted Mansion, and Thunder Mountain Railroad.  Our kiddos LOVED all of those rides, so the crabby hour did pass!

Because the kiddos actually enjoyed this part of Disneyland, apparently we stopped taking pictures.  We were getting kinda worn out, so we sat down and waited for the parade to start. Tannon and Justin decided to take a nap.  The Parades are one of my favorite parts of Disney! I love how the kids (especially Lulu and Tannon) are in AWE of the characters!

After the Parade, we hit up Toon Town. Toon Town is definitely one of the kids favorite places at Disneyland.  I think they like Mickey and Minnie’s houses and just being able to climb on stuff instead of standing in line.  Alyssa rode Gadget’s Go Go Coaster with me, but Tannon and Jayden would have nothing to do with “fast and scary rides”.

And THAT wraps up Friday at Disneyland! We ate at Denny’s after we left the park.  It had been EIGHT hours since we’d eaten hamburgers for lunch and we were all super starved.  My kids must have been having loads of fun though, because they didn’t complain once about wanting dinner!
